Scotch Review #1 - Part 2: An Introduction to Scotch, and Balvenie Doublewood


My name is Matthew Harrison, and I'm a college student in Massachusetts and a lover of wine, ale, and Scotch. In my very first Scotch review, I give a basic introduction to Scotch before I dive into the Scotch that started it all for me - Balvenie Doublewood. The Balvenie Doublewood is from the Speyside region, and it's aged for 11 years in whisky oak barrels, and just a few months in sherry oak barrels, giving it an incredibly smooth and sweet taste.
